Welcome

A site collecting my various game mods and resources I’ve made over the years. For years I’ve tinkered with modding PC games, ranging from minor tweaks to text to complete graphical replacements to hex editing without tools, sometimes sharing them but often just for my own personal use and enjoyment.

I’m by no means an “expert” at this, and have learned much over time from the real “pros”, but I decided that rather than have them scattered across multiple websites, forums and databases, I would collect all my various creations in one place, so they could be saved for posterity and easily found by others searching for them.

Games that I hope will be featured include:

  • NEO Scavenger
  • Project Zomboid
  • Space Quest I & II
  • Manhunter: New York & Manhunter: San Francisco
  • Fallout & Fallout 2
  • Fallout 3 & Fallout: New Vegas
  • Shadowrun Returns (inc. Dragonfall & Hong Kong)
  • Zafehouse
  • Zafehouse Diaries
  • Wolfenstein 3D
  • Die Hard (NES)
  • Covert Action
  • The Fall: Last Days of Gaia
  • AM2R
  • The Sims/The Sims 2/The Sims 3

Not all these games will be featured right away, as some will require me to hunt through old backups and hard drives, and not all mods will be something amazing or groundbreaking (some are just “unofficial patches” for bugs the devs never fixed), but I am hoping to get everything – big and small – that I’ve ever completed posted here eventually.

Also, I intend to use this site to post “resources” and tutorials I’ve made for game editors like RPG Maker, TyranoBuilder, Ren’Py, Game Maker, Quest and PlataGo… as well as general-purpose sprites and tilesets.

Occasionally, I will also post desktop stuff like wallpapers and icons, most notably icons for old (DOS) games that lack them and/or “Good Old Games” style icons for games not yet available on that platform, since it’s my personal online store of choice.

I’ll also be posting anything I’ve made for use on a modded “mini” consoles (such as the NES/SNES/PlayStation/Genesis/MegaDrive Classic) here too, from themes and icons to game ports and patches.

Finally, I will also be hosting here information, disk images and software regarding Amstrad PCs, such as the PC1512 and PC5286 that I owned as a child. I have a huge sense of nostalgia for Amstrad computers (I’m talking about the desktop PCs, not the “CPC” console, it should be noted) and since information on them is hard to come by online – and exclusive/bundled software from them that was available nowhere else and is not long out of print – is even harder, I would like to share my collection and remembrances here.

I hope at least a few things here prove fun and/or useful to folks who stumble across this site!

Cheers, Banjo
